Campus Minister: Rev. Dave Allen

Dave has helped lead this ministry as an undergraduate, as a seminary intern, and as a board member. An Elder in the North Carolina Annual Conference, Dave began serving as campus minister in 2016, following five years of local church ministry.
Dave is a 2004 Duke graduate (B.A. Public Policy) and a product of Duke Wesley. His friendships and experiences with Wesley were decisive in his Christian formation and his vocational path. Following college, Dave spent three years working for Sojourners in Washington, DC, before returning to attend Duke Divinity School.
Dave brings great enthusiasm for connecting with students and probing question at the intersection of the Bible and the world. He works to lift up scriptural holiness, social justice, and marginalized voices in order to live into the good news that Jesus Christ has broken down the dividing wall of hostility between us (Ephesians 2:11-22).
